Effect of Al<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-MoS<sub>2</sub> on hardness and wear loss of Al-6061 hybrid metal matrix composite

Abstract Aluminium Composites are presently conquering their massive practice in aerospace, marine, automobile and other industrial applications due to vital properties such as better strength, light weight etc. The main Purpose the present research is investigate role of Al 2 O 3 -MoS on Al6061 Metal Matrix (MMCs). with varying percentages reinforcements like (3, 6 9%) MoS manufactured by using stircasting method. result shows that uniform dispersal matrix. Increasing wt. % leads improve hardness exhibits wear resistance composites. SEM analysis reveals alloy deepest widest tracks whereas hybrid composite (Al6061/Al /MoS ), width depth considerably smaller which
